Total Health Works Massage Clinic & School will hold one day and two day seminars throughout the year.

One Day Seminars

The cost of a one day seminar is $175 if paid two weeks in advance and $225 if paid after the two week deadline. If no seminar fee is received with the application, a position will not be held for you. Register by visiting the application page. Two Day Seminars

The cost of a two day seminar is usually set by the instructor. A discount may be available for full payment 30 days in advance of the two day seminar. If no seminar fee is received with the application, a position will not be held for you. Register by visiting the application page. Click on the seminar application graphic, print the page, complete the information and return it to the address listed at the bottom of the application.

Refund Policy

If the instructor is coming from out of the area, all refunds will be left up to the instructor.

Otherwise, if cancelling 48 hours prior to class, you will receive a refund of 40% of paid fee. If cancelling after that time no refund will be given.


Guest Instructors

Total Health Works Massage Clinic & School also host seminars by visiting instructors through out the year. These instructors have certain requirements above and beyond the control of Total Health Works Massage Clinic & School. Our visiting instructors range from the specialties of Iridology, Herbology, and Structural Release to name a few. These require 16+ pre-paid students. Meaning the cost of the class is paid in full two weeks prior to class. This is due to airline ticket and hotel arrangements.

 

Intro. Pregnancy Massage - One Day 8 hours

The objective of this seminar is to teach the techniques and benefits of prenatal and postnatal massage. Focusing on position and contraindication, students will learn a wide variety of situations from client posture deviations, safe and harmful essential oils to labor room massage. Learn to identify the source of pain not just the symptoms.

Seated Chair Massage - One Day 8 hours

The objective of this seminar is to teach proper techniques for seated massage. Learn about different massage chairs and what supplies to include when planning for an event, and a quick safe chair routine.

Hot Rock Massage - One Day 8 hours

The objective of this seminar is an introduction to the safety, equipment and practices of hot rock massage. Learn the proper stones to use, how to heat and cool them as well as what essential oils can be used with them. Explore the penetrating relaxation of hot rock and learn how it can benefit your clients.

Lymphatic Massage - One Day 8 hours

The objective of this seminar is an introduction to a light technique that stimulates the immune system while regenerating tissue and circulating stagnant lymphatic fluid. Learn how to improve a client's immune system and improve their over all health. Find out what watershed or divisions are and how they affect lymph flow. Learn a simple routine for flushing your own lymphatics on a daily basis. Contraindications also apply to the lymphatic system, attend this one day seminar and learn how and why.
